Native Strawberry Gum Leaf have traditionally been used by Indigenous communities across the sub-tropical regions of Australia. With a gorgeous aroma that is somewhat reminiscent of passion fruit and strawberries, it has a unique berry flavour that can act as a flavour enhancer for cooked fruit. Try incorporating it with your cooked fruit dishes, desserts or spiced jams, to bring out the classic ‘berry’ flavour, while it is also great in herbal teas.
Basic Brewing Instructions
- Add 1 large teaspoon to 500ml of boiling water, allow to brew for 10-15 minutes.
- Drink tea hot or set aside to chill.
- The tea leaves can be re-brewed up to 3 times.
