An in-depth view of what makes our Native Detox Tea so special

One of our most popular teas has ingredients with a wide array of health benefits created to bring balance into your lifestyle and boost health and vitality.

Here at Roogenic we have crafted a blend of Native Australian and other plants that can boost antioxidants and support maintenance of good gut health which is the core of your wellbeing.

Native Lemon Myrtle

Lemon Myrtle is a native Australian bush food that is packed with antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory and immune boosting properties.

Lemon Myrtle has a high content of citral that can support healthy weight loss and detoxing by flushing out the kidneys and liver. It also aids in balancing micro-flora in the gut and helps to stimulate digestion and reduce bloating.

It is packed with powerful antioxidants that can fight free radicals and protect against infection, while also containing essential nutrients like calcium, zinc, magnesium, and vitamins A & E.

Citral is also a natural skin cleanser that fights stress, pollution and other nasties against the skin. Studies have shown that it can boost connective tissue regrowth fighting against cellulite and strengthening capillaries for blood health.

Beetroot is well known for it’s benefits to blood health as it oxygenates the blood. This can help to enhance the tolerance of high-intensity exercise and being nitrate-rich can also aid in muscle contractions (good for lifting weights).

It is also used to manage blood pressure with significant quantities of blood vessel dilating nitrate and can fight cholesterol plaque accumulation in the heart to prevent cardiovascular disease.

This bold plant is full of fibre to assist the body in cleansing the liver.

Beetroot contains vitamin C that can boost the immune system and collagen production for skin health.

Many are familiar with the warming sensation of ginger known in some medicines as the “digestive fire”. This can relieve nausea, aid digestion, soothe cramps, and improve circulation.

It is a powerful ingredient that contains gingerol, an anti-inflammatory, and can lower blood pressure and improve circulation, as well as regulate cholesterol and blood sugar.

High in antioxidants and anthocyanins, the hibiscus can regulate cholesterol and assist with liver function. Antioxidants neutralise free radicals in your body tissue cells, protecting you from potential harm and increasing longevity by maintaining overall health.

Hibiscus is also used to aid digestion and support healthy weight loss by preventing the absorption of carbohydrates and starch. A 2008 study from the American Heart Association found that hibiscus tea also lowers blood pressure due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Also rich in vitamin C it can help boost and stimulate the immune system while boasting antidepressant properties that can calm the nervous system and reduce anxiety.

This soothing plant has been used to speed up and ease digestion and has one of the highest concentrations of a range of antioxidants.

It is also known as a digestive stimulant and can allow the body to absorb more nutrients from food.
