Ultimate Sleep Bundle

Finally, a sleep tea that not only tastes great but actually helps me sleep. I bought my first box of loose leaf tea at the Fremantle Markets as much as souvenir of my only holiday to WA as anything. I liked that it supported the indigenous community (and hoped it drew on their knowledge of native plants) and small farmers. I was surprised by how effective it was and how pleasant the taste was. When I finished the box I went back to my previous Pukka sleep tea and realised there was no comparison. I then took the opportunity to buy 4 boxes of the Roogenic tea in the Black Friday sales online so I’m stocked up for awhile now.

I really had trouble sleeping due to stresses or it could be possible hormonal changes. I was truly a sceptic on the efficacy of Jilungin but thought what the heck I'll give it a try. I've tried chamomile teas in the past, but they've not helped. I still drink chamomile and other herbal teas later in a day. I ensured I never had caffeine past 1pm - not even green teas, or chocolates - but still in the middle of the night I would wake up and found it hard to go back to sleep. I have a pile of books on my bedside table to help me drift back to sleep but within a half hour or so - I would wake up again. A very disrupted sleep would make me feel like I really couldn't feel energised during a day. I just really felt like I was not operating on all cylinders. I did not want to end up having to take big pharma type medications just to get some deep sleep - so I was hoping that something more natural might help - and it really has. I take it as instructed - then I let the rest of the leaves steep in a tall glass tumbler next to my bed - so it may be more diluted by this second glass full but it's just a way of having something to drink during the night as I tend to get thirsty. I would describe the taste of Jilungin to be somewhat bitter yet earthy. If you don't like bitter tastes, it's a small price to pay for a restful night and it's not overly bitter. I didn't like the bitter taste initially but am now used to it - and I think you can always add another herb in there…
