Gut Restore Lemon, Lime & Bitters Mocktail

Serves 1 Ingredients:1 scoop Gut Restore2 tsp Roogenic Finger Lime350ml lemon, lime & bitters1/2 tbsp lemon juice1/2 tbsp lime juiceLemon zest1 sprig of mint, rosemary or thymeIce Method:Combine Gut Restore, lemon, lime and bitters, lemon zest, lemon and lime juice in a glass and stir well. In a separate glass, add ice and pour in the mixture. Lightly crush the herb sprig, add to your drink and allow to infuse for a few minutes before serving. Note: Make your mocktail extra fancy by dipping the rim of your glass in lemon juice and making a mixture of sugar and Gut Restore to coat the rim.

Berry Sleepy Gummies - Roogenic

Berry Sleepy Gummies

Yields 21 Ingredients:10 scoops Deep Sleep½ cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen (allow to thaw, if frozen)2 tbsp lemon juice1 cup apple juice1¼  tbsp unflavoured gelatine2 tsp Davidson Plum (optional)2 tbsp sweetener (optional) Method:Add all of the ingredients except for the gelatine into a small saucepan and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Allow to cool for another 5 minutes and pour the mixture into a blender or food processor, add in the gelatine and blend to the desired consistency. Pour into moulds or an ice tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before consuming. Note: For this recipe, an ice tray was used to yield 21 2cm x 2.5cm gummies, making each gummy roughly half a serving. To make this recipe vegan friendly, agar-agar can be used in place of gelatine.

Sweet Potato & Chickpea Salad

This colourful, nutrient-packed combination of superfoods is the perfect way to eat the rainbow and nourish your body with fresh seasonal produce. Did we mention it tastes like spring in a bowl? Our lunch boxes have gone through the most delicious and nutritious upgrade!   Serves 2 Salad ingredients:2 cups mesclun or other mixed leaf salad¾ cup of watercress¾ cup chickpeas1 large sweet potato½ red onionPinch of smoked paprikaPinch of salt Salad dressing ingredients:¼ cup mayonnaise1.5 tbsp balsamic or coconut balsamic 1 tsp fresh lime juice1 tsp Dijon mustard1 tsp Australian Honey Infused with Lemon Myrtle3 Bush Tomatoes¼ tsp garlic powder¼ tsp Gubinge (Kakadu plum) powderPinch of smoked paprikaPink salt to taste Method:Start with sweet potato prep and baking. While these are baking, prepare other ingredients.Preheat the oven to 170° (fan forced). Dice sweet potatoes roughly into 1” cubes, spread out on a large baking tray or two, avoid layering the pieces, spacing out is important. Drizzle Australian Olive Oil Infused with Lemon Myrtle & Pepperberry and a little salt and a sprinkle of smoked paprika on the potatoes. Cook for 20 minutes, then pull out of the oven, turn and mix with a spatula. Place back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes or until crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Tip. Baking extra sweet potato is a great idea as you can use it for a second salad the next day. Prepare salad dressing Note: The salad dressing serves 2-3 so you may have some extra which is great if you prepare extra sweet potato for tomorrow's salad. Cut Bush Tomatoes in thin slices, combine ingredients for salad dressing in a small bowl and mix well with a fork. Prepare other ingredientsFinely slice red onion, chop watercress; you might want to trim the bottom part of the storks, however you can use all the watercress (stem, leaf and flower). Add to a large bowl then add in mixed leaf salad, chickpeas and combine ingredients. Add salad dressing and sweet potato, toss and combine a few more times and serve.
